As you've perused the site, you may have realized citizens of The Now have their own economy. It is based entirely on something called "perfection points". In The Now, perfection points are needed for one's character to purchase items from any store or to cover the cost of one's injury treatment. At this time, you may be wondering, "How do I earn these perfection points?"
There are a variety of ways one can earn them, and they've all been listed here for your convenience.
REGISTRATION - Once your application has been accepted, you will receive a cushion of 25 perfection points to start.
MEMBER REFERRAL - If you refer a new member to WTF, you will receive another 25 perfection points. In order to earn these, a new member must list that you referred him/her in his/her application.
POSTING - Administrators and posting moderators will award 5 perfection points for every ten posts written by any one member.
WORD OF THE MONTH - Underneath the "OTM" box, you will see a box originally titled "WORD OF THE MONTH". If you use the word of the month correctly in an in-character post, PM an administrator or posting moderator a link to the post and we will award you 10 perfection points.
OPEN THREADS - Starting or responding to an open thread will earn you 10 perfection points. To redeem them, PM an administrator or posting moderator a link to your post.
KARMA - If you click on someone else's character profile, you will notice that in place of the regular "exalt/smite" on other proboards sites, we have the words "perfect" and "imperfect". Other members can add to or subtract from your perfection points by clicking either of these. You can do the same to them.
As well as gaining perfection points, you can also lose them. Disrespectful behavior and negligence toward abiding by the rules will cost you points.
You can keep track of your perfection points by referring to your perfection meter, which is located beneath the post count on your profile.
