Today, I came to the shocking realization that our site plot is not very involved. Perhaps I'm just not creative enough, but I'm at a loss for subplots that would incorporate all kinds of different members. The key players in the plots would have to be admin controlled anyway, to ensure everything plays out according to plan. Obviously, this isn't cool.
Therein lies the problem.
The way I see it, there are two possible solutions:
1) Robin and I disband this site and, from its ashes, birth a more flexible, involved plot, most likley involving Greek mythology or Medieval culture. </orscottpilgrim>
2) You guys help us think up some creative subplots that would unite all of our various available member groups.
IT'S UP TO YOU, WTF.
Choose wisely.

I VOTE FOR NUMBER TWO! </cause we all know how I am about changing sites>
I love WTF's plot. I can't come up with any subplot ideas right off the top of my head ( mostly because the top of my head is full of school o.e ), but I will think over things and get back to you.
EDIT This may be crap, since it's midnight and the idea came to me while I was listening to Footloose, but Ima slap it up here anyway.
A tragic accident ( I dunno what kind, but I do know that The Government will cover it up ) triggers some kind of massive power outage, leaving The Now with no Wall, no CCTV, no nothing. As a result, Imperfections are free to boldly stride back into The Now and interact with/terrorize/etc. Perfections. The Repears and Perfection Police try to strike back, of course, but without the all-seeing eyes of Big Brother, they obviously can't be everywhere at once, so only a handful of ( NPC, obviously ) Imperfections are captured. Freely roaming Imperfections = chaos. </or it could mean good news for the people like Vincent who are secretly helping Imperfections out>

^^ There'd still be a wall. It'd just be significantly easier to climb over. Regardless, I B DIGGIN' YUR IDEAZ.
And, because I've been watching too much Nikita lately, I've got a few of me own. </lookeet me, being all poser-Irish again>
1) Going off the technology failure idea, the Imperfections could plant a virus in the androids at the factories (or just one factory) that prevent them from functioning properly, so the Government sends unemployed Perfections out to take up the workload while Engineers work to debug the androids. Meanwhile, Imperfections take advantage of the breech in security to steal Perfections from The Now.
2) Imperfections already living in The Now start a revolution by world of mouth and gather a little Perfection militia to march on The Government. Massacre ensues. A small handful of Imperfections escape, retreating back outside the wall. The Perfections remaining who weren't directly involved with the revolution are put under a kind of laser neutralizer that erases their memories (dun dun DUN!).
3) The Government decides that humans are too unwieldy, so (this is where it gets really Nikita-esque) they have a bio-engineer design a chip that can be implanted in the back of the human neck, wired directly into the cerebral cortex, that sends high voltage electricity into the cortex and can kill a human within three seconds (or some other obscenely fast amount of time). All Perfections are "recalled" to the Injury Treatment Center so they can have their kill chips implanted. Once these chips are installed, however, Reapers become obsolete. As many of them are too mentally unstable to hold an ordinary job, they know they will be murdered the second they're no longer a necessity. In order to avoid death, Reapers hold up a white flag of truce and recruit some Imperfections to help stop The Government's program before the chips go live.
4) Another colony of human survivors develops in some other country, and that colony comes to wage war with The Now. Imperfections could either join the opposing colony, or, if the opposing colony threatens to destroy the warehouse Imperfections rob for supplies or the forests in which Imperfections sleep, they could sabotage the new colony and help The Now kick 'em back to whence they came.

I know. When I said "no Wall", I meant "no automatic weapons to shoot you to pieces". </guess I should have clarified xP> BUT ANYWAY. MY CLOSET GENIUS IZ A GENIUS. </like we didn't all know that already>
I lub all your ideas. I want Zee to use them all. </yes, I will go into more detail> xD
1) I laik the idea of stealing Perfections – it'd be tough to kidnap a guy like Vincent ( aka, big and muscular ), but the Imperfections would probably have all kinds of fun running off with a bunch of 17 and 18 year olds. The only issue I see with that idea – and I'm being nitpicky just for the sake of rambling xD – is, how did the Imperfections get a hold of the kind of technology that would enable them to plant a virus? Is there going to be a hacker Imperfection responsible, or are the androids run through a program that you can access at the factory? </just trying to flesh out the idea>
2) Viva la Revolution! The idea of erasing memories is really what sparked my interest with this one. I can see a bloody, violent massacre having long-lasting effects – because The Now is supposed to be a happy, happy, joy, joy type place, and tons of people dying kinda screws that. Plus, a bunch of Perfections wandering around with weeks of memory missing will cause all kinds of problems.
3) =O! Connor would be forced to work with Talia and Karlee?! Scandalous! </that's the main reason I love this idea xD> Also, the development of "kill chips" sounds like something The Government would do. I'm thinking that aside from the Imperfections and Reapers teaming up, there could also be an information leak, meaning that the Perfections would find out what The Government is planning, and the braver ones would be allowed to team up with the Reapers and Imperfections ( and possibly escape The Now after the fact ). And then the Imperfections and Reapers would go back to fighting with each other once it was all said and done. xD
4) I'm not sure which I like better, Imperfections against Imperfections, or Imperfections + The Now against Imperfections. Both sound like fun. Maybe the new colony threatens the Imperfections' habitat in the beginning, but then the Imperfections plan a meeting with the new colony, and the two decide to join up and wage war against The Now according to the Imperfections' rules, since it's their home turf.

xD I figured. There was supposed to be an "LOL" at the end of my statement thar. But, like many other words in my sentences, cyberspace swallowed it up. xP
Also, since I'm the co-admin, I can force Zee to agree with my ideas. xD (And yours, because I've latched on to it & I'm already figuring how to get Connor involved in the mix)
1) Just because it makes everything easier, Ima go with the latter.
2) -- This plot's all set, methinks --
3) An information leak is a prerequisite, otherwise, the Reapers would be equally in the dark about the whole situation. I dunno who should be the one to leak the information, though. Just because I'm a ham, I could see the Reapers having their chips implanted before everyone else (because they'd be the most dangerous in case of an uprising), and since Connor's trained himself to be impervious to anesthetic, he could overhear the Bio-Engineers discussing what they're putting into him, so he tracks down Karlee and requisitions her help. Then Karlee tells Talia, who could, in turn, warn Vince, and tell him to spread the word in order to protect the innocent Perfections. Or, if we get some more members before that plot, we could let them run with that ball. >.>
4) Hm. I'm partial to the idea of the Perfections, Government, Imperfections, and Reapers uniting against a common enemy. Perhaps we could play it so that the dictator of the opposing colony is even more sociopathic than The Governor? Everyone would go back to hating each other once the threat was neutralized, of course.

Wow. Next time I need plots, I'll check with you two. o.o
I love all of these ideas. We can cycle through them in that order, with Ellie's first.
DISCUSSION CLOSED.
